‘Twas the day before Christmas
and all ‘cross the globe
not a traveler stirred -
not the young, nor the old.
Backpacks were thrown
in a corner with glee,
not to be worn
for a day - or a week!
My cold shower taken,
the squat toilet used,
I wandered the streets
to check out the views.
